Cleobella: A Boutique with a Heart of Gold

Cleobella A Boutique with a Heart of Gold | Huntington Beach Days | Cleobella Boutique Sustainable Fashion

Whether you’re walking along the beach or the streets of Downtown, Huntington serves as a runway for beach baddies and bohemian beauties alike. But if you’re looking to really stand out — and feel good about it — Cleobella’s laid-back, yet vibrant clothing and accessories convey the worldly lifestyle of a bohemian with the subtle luxury of a cultured woman.

Nestled in the heart of Sunset Beach, Cleobella is a woman-owned, ethically sourced artisan fashion and lifestyle boutique for the discerning bohemian shopper.

Angela, the founder, remodeled a 1920’s cottage to capture the surfer aesthetics of Bali, a part of the world she says forever changed her, creating a peaceful space where they host events and other gatherings amongst her unique pieces. (AKA: Our Huntington Beach Days Launch Party!)

Cleobella prioritizes sustainability and supporting independent artisans around the world, a practice that goes hand in hand.

At the center of the Cleobella philosophy is a celebration of many cultures and traditions, as well as the art of creating things by hand, reconnecting us with the artistic expression of clothing.

This tiny-but-mighty boutique has made a name for itself with loyal shoppers from all over the world, working to empower a global community for artists — in both its charitable practices as well as its local gatherings.

At Cleobella everything is handmade, the old way, with vibrant prints, flowy dresses, and chic woven leather bags. All of their pieces are incredibly unique in color and construction, and each piece tells its own story. Their new autumn collection is inspired by various artists and artistic movements, from Monet to Art Deco.

The passion of the artists is evident in every stitch with distinctive silhouettes which take classic, flattering, feminine dress patterns and adding an eccentric element to make a statement.

With flared sleeves, lots of ruffles, skirt tiers, and asymmetry you’re sure to find something that fits your style. These expressive silhouettes contribute to the dresses’ versatility, as almost all of them could be dressed up or dressed down for any occasion.

When you buy from Cleobella you’re not just exchanging money for clothing, you’re making an active choice to change the way the fashion industry works.

Not only do they create their clothes in a way that is sustainable and environmentally conscious, but they also donate a percentage of every purchase to one of six charitable foundations, all of them working toward a cleaner planet and equality.
