Best Huntington Beach Craft Beer Spots | Huntington Beach Days | Craft Beer in Orange County

There’s nothing quite like a beach and craft beer combo and, luckily for you, Huntington is full of both. From local distilleries to neighborhood brews, Surf City USA has it all and, in the more recent years, a new wave of craft beer companies have emerged.

So grab your buddies and crack open a can because these five craft beer companies will surely raise the bar!

RIIP Beer Co.

Drive up PCH to Northern HB for this neighborhood brewery that specializes in a good time. Welcome to RIIP, a Huntington favorite for its incredible lineup of local beers and small bites. Founded in 2014 by two brother-in-laws, RIIP has earned notoriety for having one of the best taprooms in all of OC offering a slew of different beers ranging from rich stouts to hazel IPAs. RIIP has bar snacks like beef jerky, chips, and nuts available for purchase for those of us who want more in our bellies than a pint of beer. We’ll see you there for a brew-tiful time!

Beachwood Brewing

Beachwood Brewing is one of HB’s top craft beer companies and there’s little to wonder why. Located on Woodwind Drive, this brewery is known for its advanced brewing techniques and dedication to high-quality ingredients. Beachwood Brewing consistently produces award-winning beers and serves Huntington with their timeless creations like their famous “Cosmic Lottery” Pale Ale and their “Mocha Machine” Picoso. With a modern and SoCal-inspired taproom, Beachwood provides an inviting environment for beer aficionados and newcomers alike.

Green Cheek Beer Co.

Another standout brewery in HB is none other than Green Cheek Beer Co. It’s nestled in the heart of Sunset Beach and offers unique and imaginative beers with picturesque ocean views. Green Cheek produces a wide range of beers with favorites including their “Radiant Beauty” Double IPA and their “Tryptonic” Pale Ale which are both local favorites. They also have a food menu consisting of pub food favorites like their German soft pretzel and cheeky-style fries that are covered with cheese, grilled onions, and burger sauce.

Golden Road Brewing

Located in Peter’s Landing in Sunset Beach is Golden Road Brewing, a renowned brewery known for its commitment to its craft and for its iconic creations. It overlooks the harbor and has seating only steps away from the water. Golden Road provides the beachy and relaxed vibes you’re looking for whether you’re on a first date or a night out with buddies. Their beers are loved from all around the country including their prominent “Mango Cart” and “Wolf Pup Session IPA.” Gold Road is the ideal spot for those looking to unwind with a refreshing beer without the rowdy crowds.

4 Sons Brewing

If you’d like to stay on Main Street in downtown HB, you need to check out Four Sons Brewing. Family-owned and operated, their Downtown location just opened and has already attained mass popularity. Four Sons was, in fact, started by four sons (as you probably expected) who all shared a love for crafting beer. It’s fun to think that each can, pint, keg, or barrel of beer has been handcrafted by one Huntington Beach family, making it truly one-of-a-kind.
